NPR has been an amazing resource for Neurotypical! I recently heard Jonathan Mooney talk about his book, the Short Bus and knew we needed to connect. Jonathan is a dyslexic writer and activist who did not learn to read until he was 12 years old. After a spirited game of phone tag, we finally were able to chat. Brilliant!
I heard Greg Hartley speak on NPR about his new book on body language. Greg is a former Army interrogator who translated his expertise in body language and human behavior to everyday life. Fascinating conversation about the "human spectrum".
Wonderful interviews with Roy Richard Grinker, author of Unstrange Minds, and Professor of Anthropology, Human Sciences and International Affairs at the George Washington University; and Michael John Carley, founder and Executive Director of GRASP, the largest organization comprised of adults on the autism spectrum.
